We are citizens, we are professionals, we are activists, we are Democrats, we are Republicans, we are Independent, we are Libertarian; one of us drinks tea, none of us Kool-aid.  We are irreverent, we are intelligent and educated, we are objective, we are honest, we are for constitutional and human rights, we think fear and the use of it as a political weapon is dangerous, we look to walk in the shoes of the other, we love our State but not all it’s become, we think we all can do much better, we favour Riverboats as a good bet, we think our judicial and prison system need work, we think mandatory minimums have taken the gavel out of the Judges hands, we think there are way too many cameras and that invasion of privacy has become accepted and mainstream, we like balanced budgets but are concerned for the plight of critical social programs, we hate hypocrisy, we believe what VP Biden said when he eluded to getting off the ground once you’ve been knocked down, we like to believe that he believes in second chances… not just rhetorically; We think change is good but at times unpopular, we would like to see our elected officials stand unafraid of being unpopular… Hey, we all can dream.

We are committed to the process and to the First Amendment, we fly down 95 but never speed through Newport, Elsmere, Rehoboth or Dewey Beach, we think the Riverfront fell short, we miss Charlie Cawley,  we hope Sussex can stay rural for a little longer, we love Returns Day, we would like to see the return of original music venues to Wilmington, we would like to see anyone return to Wilmington, we would like to see Delaware be the first State in more ways than one signature, we care, we hope, and we pray for all our citizens and their well being, we hope the health care boondoggle gets unraveled, we are connected and have some clear channels to insider scuttlebutt, we have good ears and listen well,  we want a fair and productive government,  we believe all should have a job if they want one, we believe in opportunity, we are patriots just like you.

We are here and we look forward to a raucous and intriguing Mid-term election.
