The Dems, on the heels of unsettling shifts in party popularity have brought in some new muscle and brains (and with a Delaware lineage… how bout that).

David Plouffe, a former Obiden campaign guru, is now entrusted with placing his finger and resume in the political dike, hopefully stemming the dark tide that flooded Jersey and Virginia in ‘09, and swept into Massachusetts with a full levy breach last Tuesday,  turning Ted Kennedy over in his grave and sending the DNC to higher ground.   The GOP is breaking out the backhoe to dig a new grave if the Dems can’t shore up their coastline… and soon.

The kid has the acumen and the brains, but has the horse left the barn?  This will be interesting so stay tuned.
