One could best describe the (candidacy) of Christine O’Donnell citing as reference Julia Louis-Drefus’ hit sit com of our title’s name.
Same ‘ole, same ‘ole.
How else can any of us who believe we possess a clue, take seriously this faux candidate who has yet to wake to the fact that she is in dire need of one. Amidst the snickers and the cocktail jokes that follow – and have followed – Miss Tetley wherever she goes (especially through the back door with her date, Vic Meade), Miss O’Donnell remains in strut mode parading around as a legitimate player, all the while in rocking the latest empress’ political clothes (replete with the imaginary pockets that hold her imaginary financing).
So it is with a wink of an eye and a suppressed guffaw that we look to Wednesday morning’s 10:30 scheduled “Official” announcement at the Wilmington campus of the University of Delaware’s Goodstay House.
Now what this gal is going to announce is anyone’s guess, as she has been – at least in her mind – a candidate for sometime now. We surmise we will get the coffee, TEA, and me speech with the usual rhetorical suspects in attendance: Fiscal sanity, family values, let’s take back our country, Mike Castle is a spoiled fat cat, and all democrats are demons blah blah blah. She will look good (in an off the rack way) and flash her cutesy grin to make you think you’re watchin’ Sarah instead of her. All the while attempting to convince us all she is the real deal.
She is not, and deserved to be placed at the top of our pretender’s list. Our bad.
So tea time will come early on Wednesday and we once again will get introduced to the new, old Christine.
One lump or two, bro?

“COD” is not fit for political office. The mismanagement of her own funds will be paralleled by the mismanagement of our country’s funds g’d forbid she pulls off a miracle. “COD” lives up to the name LOL:
“Cod is a popular food with a mild flavor, low fat content and a DENSE, FLAKY WHITE flesh.”

First off, Great Headline for this story! I’ve been scratching my head for awhile now concerning Ms. O’D. Who is she? Where’d she come from? Why does she think she’s in the same league as all other pols when she’s never really ran anything?
My only recollection of her was on DE AM talk radio back when she got on her soapbox regarding being wrongly fired from her job at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
Talk about a blatant Carpetbagger – at least Hillary, and and even Harold Ford, had real-life experience before they chose the CB strategy! Jeez!
What does she do for a living? How come I never see her on all of those MSM shows she purports to be a pundit on? How did she even get on some of those shows? Heck, I had to rely on a Wiki search to find out basic stuff about her.
It’s very telling when Politico ran a story about her candidacy against Biden in 2008. At the end of the Politico article in small 8 font type, Politico makes an editorial correction regarding Ms. O’D’s vote take. Politico said: “Ms. O’D did not receive 1% of the vote, she received 4.3% of the vote, our appology.” Wow! Christine must’ve had a caniption when she read about the 1%!

Oops, forgot to post the ‘Politico’ reference link:

Btw, I wonder if she’s still a Palin fan? And I KNOW Ms. O’D wishes she looked like Julia Louis Drefus!

She is to conservative to win, and comes across as disorganized. But I do give credit to anyone with the guts to stand-up for their beliefs and is passionate about making a difference.

Can someone please post a youtube of today? We need some humor here in the office.

Castle thumps her 72-28 in a primary.
She just doesn’t get it.
March 12th, 2010 at 10:55 am
28 is a gift, bro.
March 12th, 2010 at 10:55 am
A percentage point for every 100 bucks she raises.

I think she might do better than 28-72 in the primary, depending on how she campaigns between now and then. Don’t underestimate the number of Republicans in Delaware, especially in Sussex, who are dissatisfied with Castle. That said, I don’t think she will beat him, either, but a 40-60 cage rattling in the primary could affect how Castle is perceived in the general election.
